Dana van het Gonnehof

The twin sister whose survival story belongs beside Davina's—and whose place restores the complete history of the Goedele family.

One Birth, Two Fillies

Dana van het Gonnehof and Davina van het Gonnehof were twin fillies from the same parents: Olympic Ramiro and Goedele van de Kruishoeve.

Their breeder, Wilfried Nijsen, remembered more than twenty years later that both foals required exceptional care and were bottle-fed. Dana is recorded here because that beginning belongs to both sisters, even though Davina later became the branch continuing directly into the present Warmblood Horse Sales family.

The Pedigree They Shared

Through Olympic Ramiro, Dana carries Ramiro Z, Voltaire and the mare Dubonnet. Through Goedele she carries Bon Ami and the documented mare route through Flügel van la Roche, Nirvana and Arvana van de Eksterhoeve.

Why Dana Belongs Here

Dana's importance is historical and honest. Her existence explains the extraordinary start survived by Davina, the mare who later produced Elizabeth Diamond and Maggie May. Recording Dana prevents one half of that story from disappearing.
