Trusted Equine Vetting for International Buyers

Buying from abroad requires confidence. To help make that process easier, we are able to direct buyers toward a respected UK equine veterinary practice for pre-purchase examination, X-rays and further assessment where required.

A Trusted Veterinary Option

For overseas buyers, arranging vetting from another country can feel uncertain. We are able to help buyers access a respected and established equine veterinary practice in the UK, giving them a trusted option when assessing a horse before purchase.

This is offered as an additional layer of reassurance for international buyers who want experienced veterinary support already familiar with performance horses and pre-purchase examinations.

What Vetting Can Include

Buyers may request vetting to whatever level they feel appropriate, including full pre-purchase examination, X-rays, imaging and performance assessment.

Pre-Purchase Examination

Vetting can be arranged from a standard clinical assessment through to a more detailed pre-purchase examination, depending on the buyer’s requirements.

X-Rays & Imaging

Buyers may request X-rays and further diagnostic imaging for additional clarity before making a final decision.

Performance & Soundness

Veterinary assessment can help buyers better understand general soundness, suitability and current clinical condition.

Breeding & Fertility

Where relevant, additional veterinary support may also be arranged for breeding or fertility-related questions.

Buyer Choice and Independence

Buyers may use Nantwich Equine Vets or any veterinary practice of their own choosing.

The veterinary surgeon is instructed directly by the buyer, and all veterinary costs are paid by the buyer.
