BRANCO VAN OVERIS

The Vital Bridge Between Parco and Noah

Some stallions build their reputation through international competition. Others become indispensable because they carry a great bloodline into the generation that follows. Branco van Overis is the documented link between Parco and Noah — the stallion through whom the blood of Darco and Lugano van la Roche continues directly into the horses bred at Warmblood Horse Sales.

01

A Pedigree Built From Two Great Lines

Branco van Overis was foaled on 1 July 2001. The official Anglo European Studbook record identifies him as a grey graded stallion carrying registration number W-201066.

His sire was Parco, the Olympic show-jumping stallion by Darco. Through that sire line Branco carried the direct influence of Lugano van la Roche, Darco and Parco.

Branco's dam was Deampla, a KWPN mare by Le Mexico. Her dam, Reampla, was by the Thoroughbred Acer xx. This maternal family added the established jumping influence of Le Mexico and the blood of Furioso xx.

What the Records Confirm

Branco does not have the volume of publicly available competition material attached to the internationally campaigned horses behind him. For that reason, this page does not attempt to give him achievements that cannot be supported. His importance is presented through the official information that can be documented: his identity, pedigree, graded status and registered progeny.

AES graded stallion Branco appears in the Anglo European Studbook as a graded stallion whose former approved status is now archived.
FEI pedigree record The FEI database records Branco van Overis under FEI identification H0730083 and the Anglo European Studbook.
101 registered offspring The AES database currently lists 101 offspring under Branco van Overis, including Noah.
03

A Legacy Recorded Through His Offspring

The Anglo European Studbook lists 101 registered offspring by Branco van Overis. The register includes horses born across a number of years and records him as a stallion whose influence was spread through British and European warmblood breeding.

Among those registered offspring is Noah. For this Hall of Fame, that is the central fact. Through Noah, Branco's bloodline remains active rather than historical.

Numbers alone do not define a stallion. What matters is whether the line continues with recognisable quality and purpose. Branco's place within this breeding story is secured by the generations that follow him through Noah.

The Bloodline Continues Today

Branco is where famous history becomes our living breeding programme

Through Noah, Branco van Overis is a direct ancestor of the young horses bred at Warmblood Horse Sales. Every one of those descendants carries his place in the line between Parco and the generation being produced today.

This is why Branco belongs here. His page does not need to imitate the competition record of Darco or Parco. His own importance is that he carried their line forward into Noah — and from Noah into every generation that follows.

06

His Place in the Hall of Fame

A Hall of Fame built only around sporting fame would miss an essential part of breeding history. Between every world-famous ancestor and every promising horse born today stands a sequence of stallions and mares that preserved the line.

Branco van Overis is one of those essential horses. He joins the Olympic blood of Parco and Darco with the Le Mexico and Furioso xx influence of his dam line. Most importantly, he passes that inheritance directly into Noah.

His story is therefore not a blank space between two famous names. He is the bridge that makes the whole documented journey possible.

“Not every important stallion stands beneath the brightest spotlight. Some carry the light from one generation into the next.”
